- Check to see if the tire has any objects on it, that will fly off when the tire is spinning

- Make sure your work area is good to work in

- Check to see if the tire is directional tire meaning it turns in a certain derection. and mark the tire to know where it goes back on

- Make sure you use the correct weights some rims require special weights to be used make sure you use the right weights, if you use the wrong one it could fly off and hit someone
